The 43-acre P&J Vineyard is named after Pat and Julie Garvey, as it was common to find the two working together, pruning and tending to the vineyard late into the evening hours. It’s hard to imagine a vineyard that has received more love and care!
The vineyard rests on the southern edge of the St. Helena Appellation and enjoys expansive views of Mt. St Helena to the north. With its close proximity to the Napa River, P&J Vineyard offers a diverse blend of alluvial soils, from Cortina gravelly loam to Pleasanton loam and Cole silt loam. These deep fertile soils help the vineyard come into balance during the warm St. Helena summers.
