kairos vineyard: NAPA VALLEY

The ancient Greeks recognized that there were two entirely different aspects of time: chronos & kairos. We are all too familiar with chronos as we march to the rhythm of our clocks, calendars and deadlines. Kairos refers to the moments where time stops and we are allowed to savor an experience. We exist in chronos, but we long for kairos. The wines crafted from the Kairos Vineyard are wines that beg us to slow down and be experienced.

Located in the southeastern slopes of Napa Valley, the 37 acre Kairos Vineyard rests between the Coombsville and Atlas Peak Appellations. The vineyard is Fish Friendly Farming Certified and farmed using both sustainable and CCOF certified farming practices. The combination of elevation, exposure, and the wonderful well-drained Coombs gravelly loam soils make Kairos one of the jewels in our collection of vineyards.
